Mecwins designs immunoassay technologies based on customer molecules, including proteins, nucleic acids, antibodies, and small molecules. We develop and optimize diverse surface chemistries compatible with biomolecules to enhance assay performance.

Mecwins has considerable expertise in the immobilization of antibodies of any format — full-length antibodies, Fabs, and nanobodies — onto an array of surfaces per customer specifications. We also attach unique tags and develop compatible surface chemistries that facilitate high orientation of the molecules and enhance sensitivity.

We have conducted KD (equilibrium dissociation constant) measurements for over 15 monoclonal antibodies from one of our key customers. Lower KD values indicate higher antibody affinity; to achieve ultrasensitivity, high-affinity antibodies with KD values in the picomole to femtomole range are recommended.

We test all antibodies as both capture and detection antibodies in every possible combination to identify the most suitable sandwich pairs. To maximize your molecules and improve sensitivity (up to an order of magnitude in LLoD), we can also develop kits using your antibodies together with our ultra-sensitive AVAC proprietary technology.

Mecwins assists clients in identifying the optimal assay diluent formulation, optimizing components to minimize matrix interferences and achieve an acceptable percentage of recovery in real samples.

Mecwins has extensive experience in selecting the most appropriate matrices for each assay and analyzing the most common interferences of each matrix, helping you optimize the diluent assay to get the best performance for each matrix.
